THE 'EARTH DAY' IN NOVI SAD

Description
The campaign has been prepared during the days before. A group of people of PGVCV has decided to focus on the theme of the sustainable development, in paticular it has been decided to make aware the population about the energy saving in the houses. For this reason, it has been handed out a folded paper that explained why saving energy in the houses is convenient for the environment and from an economic point of view as well. The volunteers have distributed the brochures to the people in the street. Above all, the saving energy lamps have had a particular role during this day, because it has been possible for the population to get for free one of this kind of lamp; a five-question questionnaire has been handed out with the intent to give a lamp for free only if the answers were correct.

Moreover, three big posters that explained the reasons of the climate changes have been installed in order to provide more information.

Another group of volunteers, instead, has cleaned the trees in the main Boulevard and in other part of the city from the event advertisement and paper in general.

Final results

The volunteers made a good job because they distributed lots of informative material and gave for free 10 saving energy bulbs, the total amount on tap. Many people tried to fill the questionnaire and wanted more information about the theme.
